Schneider CA1Spain acquired 6 tanks (artillery cars) in 1921 participating in North Africa. In 1925 a series of transformations were carried out in the Melilla mastery, to extend its operational life. In 1929 five arrived in Madrid and were stored. On July 19, 1936 they again took center stage participating in the attack on the Mountain Barracks in Madrid and in the siege of the Alcazar of Toledo. His end was in the defense of Madrid.
