| TextEN | Completed in November 1938 as steam tug Shkval for Severnoe Gosudarstvennoe Morskoe Parokhodstvo (SGMP), Vladivostok. Since 7 July 1941, assigned to the Northern Fleet as salvage vessel ASO-1 Shkval. 25 Aug 1943 the Shkval struck two mines laid on 12 August by U-625 in the east part of the Yugorskij Shar Strait in the Kara Sea and sank immediately. The ship provided a transfer of river ships from Pechora to Ob´ river.(1226) | |
