TextEN | "Rikstanken" (the National Tank) was the only tank in Norwegian Army service at the start of WW2. Also known as "Kronstanken" (the Royal Tank) and "Norgestanken" (the Norwegian Tank), the vehicle was purchased from Sweden to experiment with the mechanization of the armed forces. Rikstanken had a crew of two and was armed with a Colt m/29 machinegun in the turret. The designer Arctic Skunk on Shaeways calls it Rikstanken | |
