TextENEgyptian King's yacht as a German Sub-Chaser

PTDockyard: GE25 UJ6073 "Nimet Allah" German Escort ship.
Nimet Allah means Blessing God.

There were 2 ships of this name, causing some confusion. This Nimet Allah was the yacht of the Egypt king. Germany helped the king to move the ship to Monaco and to protect it from the access of the Italian troops. The king's influence being disappeared, finally Germany equipped the ship as a heavy armed sub-chaser UJ6073.
While the allied invasion of Anvil on 17.8.44 UJ6073 and UJ6082 (ex Italian corvette Antilope, Gabbiano class) were discovered by an Allied unit consisting of DE USS Endicott, HMS Aphis, HMS Scarab, US PT553 + 554, and some Bristish ML. Both ships sank.
