Model HMS Fairmile B | Motor launches were armed harbour protection boats and sub-chasers. Sometimes, e.g. at Malta they were used as Minehunters or Minelayers. Some Canadian built were lent to USN as SC1466-1473 sub-chasers. The IJN captured 2 and used them as 12-go ex ML310 later 102-go, 111-go. |
