TextENTsi Yuen was the first protected cruiser built in Germany. Tsi Yuen was used by the Chinese Navy in the battles of Pungdo, Yalu and Weihawei in the first Japanese-Sino War- She was captured by Japan and served as Saien in the IJN. She sank b a mine hit in Port Arthur on 30.Nov. 1904.
